My webapp works fine under low traffic. (~ 50 concurrent users during beta test). It is an online realtime debate tool for students, so they have to follow sequential steps(pages) within a time frame. However, on the day it is launched, there are ~500 concurrent user. Only 100 people can step through the process without any technical issues. The rest had technical difficulty of some sort. However, the error reports showed that most of them were caused by session data not retrieved (the value of $_SESSION['']). Is that possible, if so, what are the causes and how to fix it? Thanks.
