Speech to text for Web Application

I am trying to make google's speech to text to work in a web application. I need to use that to give directions to a car, for example: saying left, the speech to text from google turns my speech into left, and then the mini-car goes left. I've seen how to integrate this into Android applications but I don't have any idea how to do this in a web application.
