can we use the term 'UI designer' for web designer?

I'm not asking for the difference between web and UI designer.

I searched all over the google, everywhere i found differences but i need a bit clarification.

Since the designation Web designer is deprecated (mostly not used in industry) can we use UI designer as their designation?

In my case web designer is one who design the websites(preparing layout, typesetting, following some basic UI patterns etc..) using PS and also develop using the front end code(i.e. HTML, CSS, JS).

I know that UI design is a whole and is not restricted to only web apps.. but web design is a subset of UI deisng.. so can we use the term 'UI designer' for a person who design web pages and do front end coding??
