Interaction b/w webpage and c++ server

I believe this question might have been asked already. But I am unable to have a working solution yet.

I require to run a C++ server which listens to request from a webpage for generating images. The webpage provides certain parameters which is used to define the criteria for generating those images.

Please guide me, with working code examples if possible.

I tried building some examples of websockets and mongoose, but haven't been successful in getting a working example yet.
