Create a hls(m3u8) and dash(mpd) player in python for my website

I am trying to create a custom video player for my website using pure python. I want to know if i could a create player in python and call it in html code, like video.js or any javascript code of player is called. I want to do same for my python player code.

Is there a framework i can look to(except django and flask).
