Is there any way to design a webpage based off an XML file delivered by a GET request?

My company has a server with different website templates for different functions. To go from one of these to another, I have to perform a simple get request to acquire the new file. However, I need to change the webpage design based on the specifications in the file (for example, going from a contact us page to the homepage would require a get request to get the homepage XML). Is there any way to automate this?
