What are the best keyboard shortcut combinations without getting problems with different browsers

i'm working on a web application and want to add shortcuts to some functions. I know how that works. But is there a combination like CTRL+SHIFT+ or ALT+ range free to use without interfering the browsers (cross-browser). Can't find any info about that. Only lists of all combination. But maybe somebody did search this out already.
