Webbrowser: detect disabled applinks

Is there any technical possibility to detect if a Webbrowser like Samsung Internet Browser or Firefox Mobile has deactivated applinks?

We have an webapplication which jumps into our android app via applinks. If the app is not installed we provide a Fallback page. I would like to extend the troubleshooting informations on this fallback page to help struggling customers to activate the applink option in their used webbrowser.

I could use user agents detection to identify the browsers which are known to have an option for deactivating applinks but in best case i could ask the browser itself through an API.

Any suggestions?
