How do I do the copying files to the server feature for posts on the site when I`ll deploy a website

I am currently creating a site for my school and I need to ask a question. I am nearly finished coding the site but I need to know how to deploy a website with the posts, because there will be posts for parents and just for visitors. I used sqlite3 as database system for the project and when I was entering the posts in it(database), I noticed that it writes only the name of the file, but not the path to it. And as I am working with node.js, I need to save the pictures for the posts to the '/public' folder for the server app that finds them. So, I understood that I need to have some system to copy the photos and other files to the server to the '/public' folder, but I don`t know how to organize this. Will the hosting to that will their own tool or I need to write this tool? Help me pls.
