I need to know which Airbnb clone program I can use to develop a website + app with that is the same as Airbnb

I've been wanting to create a website and app that functions almost entirely the same as Airbnb (or at least as close to it as possible), but it does NOT focus on accommodations but rather other things. It just needs to work the same way, but it will not compete with Airbnb at all.

I tried outsourcing to an independent developer for a high fee he charged, and I ended up with a website that I guess is something "kinda like" an Airbnb, but anything you want to do is much more complex ie. If Airbnb is as simple as [Do A] or [Do A then B] to do something, the developer made my project so that you had to do A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, etc in order to perform any function. I find it very inconvenient for any customer that may use it in the future.

So right now, I want to check out possible Airbnb clones before settling on a developer that actually knows their stuff.

Do you guys have any suggestions on what genuine Airbnb clones available can do the best job, and maybe how to tell if a developer is competent enough to do it?

Nothing. I have zero background as a programmer and need to outsource.

If you can suggest on how I can be sure to hire a really competent developer for this project, then that would be great.

End project by last (and only) developer was too complex and inconvenient to use.
