I need checkboxlist with checked, from SQL server in C# web application

I cannot able to get checkboxlist with selected when I retrieve checkboxlist data from SQL server. I am using the split comma to store my checkboxlist to database ex:

      course
-----------------
PHP,SQL,HTML,MySQL

Like this I have. how can I get course data with the selected value only checked?
