SessionStorage not cleaned when browser hangged

I have build an application wherein i am saving the token received from server into sessionStorage on client side. The session expiry time is 30mnts. The application works well in given senario:

Working correctly 1. User openes the application. 2. Ideal for 30mnts and then click on any likns 3. session expiry message appears fine. 4. User close the window and launch a new window, application loaded successfully

However the below scenario doesn't work properly consider a new sessionStorage allocated to a new window: Incorrect behaviour 1. User openes the application. 2. Ideal for 5-6 hours or may be overnight 3. User comes back next day and try to click on stale session 3. Browser hangged up aur not responding 4. User close the window and launch a new window, application displayes session timeout page. User has to referesh or relaunch the page.
