Suppose you were to develop a web application for a nursing home involving things such as managing issues regarding clients, workers and their need to access information quickly, schedules, producing reports, keeping track of changes in data and such things, could you achieve it satisfactorily with a CMS, provided you are willing to program custom modules? Or would you rather use a MVC framework (or something similar), sacrificing flexibility in favor of potentially significant gains in development time?
I initially discarded the CMS option for its apparent rigidity in favor of the latter, but I am now reconsidering it.
