Load PDF from www in Cordova/Phonegap

I'm using Monaca web ide. I've put a pdf in the www folder, and when the user clicks on a link the pdf is copied on the sd and is opened. The problem is that inside the debugger, I can access the file, but when I compile the final APK the app does not find the file at runtime.
