Google has a lot of guidelines you must follow when using AdSense ads on your own site. One "no-no" is to artificially inflate your ad impressions. Essentially this means don't keep refreshing your own webpages in order to boost how many times your ads appear.
As a web developer, how do you go about testing and styling a webpage when you have ads on them? Usually there is a lot of page refreshing involved when setting up and styling your pages. Is it possible that having your ad on your page when doing this could result in Google penalizing you or disabling your account or something along those lines?
Do people simply disable the Ads in their development environment? Or is there a way in the AdSense dashboard to not display ads to a set number of individual IP addresses so that they would never load for you while testing?
What is the best solution that will keep you within Google's AdSense guidelines?
