What are the best technologies for developing web applications with match stats like Flashscore?

I would like to start working on a web application to track game scores (eg Flashscore), but I don't know which tools will be the best.

So far I have only been doing REST API stuff in Java and I would like to use it to retrieve information but I have not dealt with the frontend and I do not know what to use and how to connect it. Looking for information, it seems to me that I could use jQuery, Bootstrap and AJAX along with Spring Boot to create an MPA.

Are these technologies good or are you suggesting something else?
