Servlet returning empty page with "MainServlet-doGet" — Why does my servlet not respond?

How come all I get when running my web page is an empty page saying MainServlet-doGet (see to the right)? Why does my servlet not respond? Is there something wrong with my paths? I cannot seem to figure it out.
