Migrate weblogic web-services.xml to weblogic 12.2+

I am working on updating an application from WebLogic 10 to WebLogic 12.2. The application uses web-services.xml to define a web service (WSDL) that makes references to several Java files, but after reading this answer, I realized that this is no longer supported by Weblogic 12.2. The links in that post referred to some Oracle documentation assumes that servicegen references and build.xml are used, but my application consists of one web-services.xml file that references several Java files. Does anybody have any tips on how to migrate this service to the latest WebLogic version?
