How to reference Bootstraps minified files when installing Bootstrap via NPM

Sorry if this is a bit of a broad question! And apologise if it's been answered before, I have searched but couldn't find what I was looking for.

I am in the process of setting up a new web dev project with Bootstrap via NPM.

I have installed Bootstrap using NPM, which has resulted in a 'node_modules' folder containing a 'bootstrap' folder.

I am wondering what is the best way to reference Bootstraps minified CSS and JS files?

Do I: - Just copy/paste Bootstraps minified files into my 'dist' folder? - Just reference the minified files from within the 'node_modules' folder? - Use Grunt to move the minified files? - Use Grunt to compile Bootstraps minified files into my custom style.css file?

I hope this makes sense! Please do let me know if I can elaborate any more.
