create keyboard only ui (in asp.net)

I work in a company that most of it's code is in COBOL. The users like the COBOL screens and so do i. I need write a web application (in the company, not on the internet), and i want that it's UI will be like cobol: keyboard only, moving forward with tab and using other keyboard shortcuts. Also after each field the user fill there should be some checking. Is there a any book or site that explain about how to create this kind of interface? or maybe javascript library intended for this kind of work?
