Facebook personalised share title and description

I know this has been asked before but there's been some pretty big changes in Facebook's API and I can't find an up to date answer, any help would be much appreciated!

We're making a quiz where the user shares their score on Facebook. We used to do this with FB.UI, but they've just gotten rid of the name and description parameters so our old method isn't working. We switched to sharer.php, and passed in the custom title and description as parameters which was working for a few weeks but it looks like they've removed that functionality too.

I know this is an intentional decision by FB, I'm just wondering if anyone has found a work around? Customised share is a big part of the product we're making and I'm desperate for a solution!
