What are the different ways to get product data with their price to display them in my website?

I want to know the logic/process that is being followed by the price comparison websites like PriceRunner, Shopbot, Bizrate etc.

I have two solutions

1. Being an affiliate to Flipkart, snapdeal kind of networks

2. Running a web crawler.

I want to know is there any other ways I can do it.
