Rewrite Rule for Rewriting Page number

I am trying to mask the following url with any page number

https://sampledomain.com/?page=2

to

https://sampledomain.com/page/2

using htaccess. Internally path should always be calling ?page=2 but in the website url should looks like https://4kwallpapers.com/page/2

Please suggest me the correct htaccess rules.
