About USing Laravel as a backend of React Native

I am new in Web and mobile app development. I create a Web app using React, laravel, and mongo. Now I want to build an app with react native and I want to use the laravel as backend.

So because of I am new in developing so I want to know is this a wise decision to use laravel as the backend of React Native Because Maximum Developer using Firebase with React Native and secondly, can I publish my app with laravel as a backend. Thank you
