Does PM2 running inside a Docker container utilize the hardware efficiently?

I like using PM2 but have nver tried it in combination with Docker so I was wondering if running it inside a Docker Instance utalizes the hardware in the same way it would if it was deployed on the "bare metal" and not encapsulated by the container and in general i was wondering if it is a good practice for Node web apps.
