trying to host a website but when i use my public ip it redirects me to my router settings

right so I've been trying to host a website like all day today, for some reason when i use my public it directs me my router settings/ manager. my provider is optimum btw. any ideas on what i could do?

so far i think that the problem may be the fact that optimum by default lets you access your router remotely, but i cant find an option to turn that off.

i thought that maybe you could specify the port for the domain to use, but that does not seem to be a think, from what ive read so far.
