How can i make print data to screen from localStorage after i used getItem

please guys check this out I have one problem here.. I pushed the received input from user to an array and parsed that array as spring using JSON.sringify() method to localStorage and now I retrieved it back and print to the page using JSON.parse to getItem from local storage ...but when the browser refresh it wipes the save items of ..I want it to stay even when the browser is refreshed ... Is there need to stop the input from performing is default action ??
