Host the SSL on different server than the website web hosting

I want to use CERTBOT on my web hosting server "Hostinger" but they don't allow me to, they want me to pay for the free ssl !, and I used to use CERTBOT on my VPS, and I am thinking if there is a way to use my VPS to host the SSLs and the webhosting to host the websites!, is that possible ?
