How to truncate audio after chrome-captured?

I use the chrome.tabCapture.capture({audio: true}) to get the audio. Is it possible to truncate some of the beginning and some of the end of this audio?

The object returned by the capture method is MediaStream, and it also has MediaStreamTrack in it. But I don't see any helpful functions that let me achieve what I want
