How much "css" should i learn before jumping into bootstrap 4 or any css framework?

I just finished learning the basics of Html5 and shortly I will start learning css3 but I have been told by one of my friends that learning bootstrap4 will make my life much easier with my way to learn web development so my question is "How much "CSS" should I learn before jumping into bootstrap 4 or any CSS framework?"
