Can web iOS and Android share an google analytics tracking ID?

The existing tracking ID for the web is UA-1234567-8, can we use this ID on iOS and Android?

Should we use the same tracking ID across all project access points (web, iOS, and Android)? Or is it better to have different tracking IDs for each app/device type?
