Hosting recommendations for my website

I am trying to create a website in which the user can enter in some information into the website, and that information is sent to a PHP file in the form of a JSON object. The PHP sends that information to a database, so that the information persists even after the user leaves the page. I've never had any experience running databases however, so I'm not really sure how to go about doing this. Does anyone have any recommendations for where I can host a dynamic website that allows me to use PHP, and where I can also host a database to hold my JSON objects? Thanks.
