Modern Software engineering languages [on hold]

In 90's C, C++, Java were basic languages for writing software. Later with introduction of Web HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP come to picture.

I have lost the current picture. I hear all about node.js,Angular , ruby on rails, and many frameworks and tools.

Can you give me a picture of where all these emergent languages and frameworks fall in the big picture? How to categorize them to different functionalists?
