Entire web page shifting left and right on touchpads in Safari

My website is running fine with one issue... it seems that folks who only use touchpads are able to shift the entire page to the left and the right about 30 pixels. This shifts the menu to the left or to the right as well as any content within the body div. In terms of functionality it doesn't harm the page, but it certainly doesn't look right. Is there a way to fix the page and make it not move to the left and the right when a use uses a trackpad to scroll and not a mouse?

This issue happens in Safari web browsers.
