Best way to get date information from web-scraped CSV (Django)

I would like to scrape CSVs containing satellite data that is produced daily into a Django database, including the date information. However, from what I can tell the only place that has the date info is in the filename, and on the website download page, as in the date isn't in the CSV itself. What is the best way to read the date information into the database?

If relevant, the database I'm interested in is the VIIRS nightfire data from Earth Observation Group. Thank you!
