how to configure the dns in cpanel or whm?

suppose I have the following subdomain: subdomian.domain.com !

when I type the following URL: subdomian.domain.com , the browser go to the required website . But when I type http://bit.ly/2IthOjf the browser gives me error the domain was not resolved. i want from both of them to work any suggestions please ?!!

please how i can fix that using DNS in cpanel/WHM ?

i tired searching for solution using google and it told me about using cname or redirect but I still have a problem in my understanding to fix the problem ?!
