Scrolling jumps and gets stuck on mobile iOS

I have this website here: www.mechlife.org

Everything works perfectly fine on desktop browsers. But, the scrolling is jumpy and sticks sometimes on iOS mobile. I've tried removing the slideshow, but that didn't seem to have any effect. I also tried toggling some of the jquery plugins, but I can't pinpoint the issue.

Is this a CSS or JS/Jquery problem? If someone could point me in the right direction for troubleshooting, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
