Web application need to show images in offline

I am using indexed db to achieve the offline mechanism in my application. Once the user is online i will store the data in indexed Db and when the user is going to offline i will show the data from indexed Db. In my application some cases lot of images are coming from server . I need to show those images in offline mode.

In my application I am using ionic2 and Angular2 for development.

Is it possible any option available for this scenario.

Please suggest!!!
