wordpress template chrome and IE

I am starting to work with wordpress for the first time. I read alot of the documentation, so most of the stuff was rather basic. The good part about wordpress and those like it, is the simple fact that you dont need to do alot of code to get a website running. This helps me alot since I am not very experienced in web related languages. Atm I am using the template Corporate by MyThemeShop , and for some reason the logo on the top left was not even there, so I corrected it with my own css code --> Chrome, and now it shows.

On chrome I able to correct the missplacement created by wordpress as you can see above on the link. But with the same code, its completly different on Internet Explorer (Firefox is exactly the same as Chrome). IE, I been trying to figure this for a while but once I alter it with my own CSS it is allways different from one to the other.

I am wondering if anyone has ever had this problem with wordpress, or if anyone knows how to solve it? Thank you to everyone that can give a hand to a newbie :).
