What's a good API to get basic country facts?

I'm looking for an API that will return basic country data (Ex. Area, capital, largest city, official languages, population). I don't care what these facts are in particular or if it's more of a description but I'd like there to get more than 5 items about each country. I tried restcountries.eu but I felt that it doesn't provide enough information about each country.
