Is there a way to access UPnP devices on a local Wi-Fi network through a non-local hosted website?

I am trying to access a UPnP device (microphone) that will be on my local Wi-Fi network through the web. I am wondering if there is a way to actually do this through a non-locally hosted website.

Basically, this website should be able to somehow find the specific device on a Wi-Fi network.

The reason I need to use a UPnP device is due to the nature of the project (final school project), in that end goal of the project is for the website to receive audio input from this UPnP microphone, then route that microphone to another device (BeagleBone Black) wirelessly, which finally uses another device to synchronously output this microphone audio on multiple other BeagleBone Blacks.

I was wondering if this is even possible to do, and if so, how?
