It's a university project where I have to make a website that is given a .gpx file with some coordinates and the server has to "get" the satellite images from Google Maps, order them and archive them for the user to download. I've read through some of Google Maps' API documentation and it became clear to me that it's a bit against the terms and they clearly don't provide anything related to this.
I'm now wondering if web scraping is an option but I am fairly unfamiliar with these things.
Are there any tools that you guys will suggest or any guidance at all.
