HTTPs - What algorithm is used for data encryption/decryption

I'm trying to understand better how HTTPs works. What I'm not understanding or at least not finding in any document I read is what symmetric cryptography is used to transmit data from client to server. I know HTTPs uses RSA to make client and server both have the same key to encrypt/decrypt datas, but what I can't understand is what algorithm is used to do that.
