what up with Google APIs auth not being able to resolve child process?

then implementing a the Google APIs into Next.js web code, it can't resolve a thing called child_process.

We're running the web code into an AWS server with dynamodb. As well, we are using these packages:

• bootstrap 4.5.3

• encoding 0.1.13
• googlesapis 67.1.1
• Jose 3.5.0
• next 10.0.4
• opened-cient 3.0.0-canary.6
• p-memorize 4.0.1
• react 17.0.1
• util 0.12.3
• webpack 4.46.0

We use yarn to install them and such. I've been wrestling around the Google APIs forums and such, some say that webpack doesn't work with googlesapis node however, I've been told by my boss that webpack doesn't do anything in our code and we are not using node. Certainly a conundrum.
