console log doesn't run on server

I want to make a pool in the background of my website, on the server.( I am working on a sharetribe template, so the file arhitecture is already made). First I wanted to try and see if things are running, so I made a js file in the server folder of my app and I wrote a console.log() in there. But when I start the website locally with yarn run dev the console.log() doesn't run.I don't see nothing about it in the chrome console. What am I doing wrong?
