Is it right to start using a javascript framework without any js background? [closed]

Dear stackoverflow users, can you help me make the right decision!? I am planing to start using react js in a project but i don't have any javascript experience (i have not yet use it in any project). But I have already learnt .js and have done exercises.

What do you suggest me!? Can i go straight to react js or just take some fun using .js first!?
