Which markup language to use

I am working on personal web project and going to add blog feature. That blog will be used mostly by me, and I want to implement markup parser by myself, not use existing solution. So, question is: which markup language is easier to use and easier to implement parser for?

I had previous experience with Markdown and BBCode, but have no special preference.
