What could be the reason for my website's Domain Authority being stuck at a point?

I own a blog for programming basics you can visit it from this link. Programmics!. It's Domain Authority is stuck at 2. Is this because of any technical issue or I need to build up backlinks for that?

I tried putting it to some directories and all but no results have shown up yet.
