Multiple transitions for one page

How to add multiple transitions within one page with HTML and CSS

Hello, I am developing a web portfolio, and I would like to have multiple transitions (sliding overlay in different colors depending on the previous page, and fade in-out).

A good example: https://www.malikafavre.com/

When the user clicks on an image on the main page, and then go back, the overlay transition shown has a unique color.

I have tried using ANIMSITION: https://github.com/blivesta/animsition, but it seems that only one transition is affected to one page.

Is it possible to create this, using a simple library ?
