How consume a API and update the pictures to the website automatically?

I need some help... And I really don't know make this question. I'm consuming a API and I need to take some pictures from the API and after that send it to the DataBase and Upload the pictures on a website, but I'm doing that manually and I need it automatically.

I'm trying to make a console solution en C# to consume the API but I really don't know if is a good idea. At the moment I have the pictures from the API on my desktop, but i don't know how deletes it and downloads it everything automatically.
